This page allows you to perform actions on a single environment, including update scheduling, diagnostics configuration, and lifecycle management.

Upgrade and Update Controls

Set Upgrade Window
Queued and runs approximately one hour after initiation.
Schedule Environment Update
Also queued to run in about one hour. To apply changes immediately, run the Environment Sync at the top of the page.
Run App Update
Scheduled to run in about one hour from initiation.
Schedule App Update for Later
Queued to run in one hour. Updates apps in the Business Central Admin Center, which are then reflected in Orbit after the next sync (manual or every 2 hours).

Set Application Insights Key
Runs immediately and restarts the environment.
Turn On/Off Application Insights
Runs immediately and restarts the environment.

Copy Environment
Runs immediately. Ensure no conflict with production data if integrations are active.
Rename Environment
Runs immediately.
Delete Environment
Performs a soft delete. Runs immediately.
Restore Environment
Runs immediately and reinstates a previously deleted environment.
Transfer Environment
Transfer environments between Microsoft Entra tenants, for scenarios like tenant consolidation, business acquisitions, or moving demo environments to customer tenants.
